About Samantha
Samantha Fernando is the Learning, Talent & Leadership Leader at Aurecon, an engineering, management, design, planning, project management, consulting and advisory company with over 6,500 staff across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.
With more than 20 + years experience in the corporate and consulting environments within the L&D, HR and OD fields, some of her key achievements include:
• Design and implementation of a highly successful leadership and cultural transformation agenda for a top tier commercial law firm; and
• Co-creator of the Future of Work: People, Place, Technology Conference.
She has extensive HR and L&D corporate experience through leadership roles at leading professional service firms including PwC, Clayton Utz, Minter Ellison, King & Wood Mallesons and Herbert Smith Freehills. In addition, she has consulted to many industries including JP Morgan Singapore/Hong Kong, Myer, Dibbs Abbott Stillman, Mills Oakley, Varian, St. George Bank, Olex, Vision Australian and Department of Sustainability & Environment.
She is deeply passionate and skilled in leadership and management development for individuals, teams and organisations and has substantial subject matter expertise in the design and development of key L&D, HR and OD initiatives.
