About Susanna
Susanna is a new breed of lawyer helping unlock the people power in business. Together with her team, she helps high profile and trusted brands transform their workforces into happier, more productive, more inclusive and resilient teams. She has leveraged her background in highly esteemed law firms and as an in-house advisor within one of Victoria’s central government agencies into a nimble, award-winning and client-focussed practice removing the time, hassle and expense from employment law.
Susanna has previously led one of the largest teams at Victoria’s legal aid commission, overseeing the administration of its fund, and providing legal and advisory services to the Commission, its Managing Director and the Board. Most recently, Susanna completed a secondment as the Executive Officer of Australia’s national peak body for continence supporting the CEO with strategic planning, people & culture, staff engagement and wellbeing, and the recruitment of a new Deputy CEO and Operations Manager.
Susanna is committed to giving back to her community, has travelled extensively and volunteered at various community legal centres, and is raising two beautiful little children to be brave and happy people in the world. She is a leading member of the world’s largest human rights organisation, having served on its National Board here in Australia and helped lead its work on its first National Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing Strategy.
Susanna holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts. She has also successfully completed the LEADR Mediation Training Course.
